Code of Conduct

FUTURE VISION is designed to advance of the craft of premium episodic storytelling in Australia, by bringing local television professionals together with some of the world’s leading television creators and executives.

Our goal is to forge meaningful creative exchanges that provide a long-lasting and positive impact on Australia’s screen industry, ensuring our stories resonate across the globe.

While passionate and courageous discussion is encouraged, FUTURE VISION is not a place for behavior that is unprofessional, off-topic, abusive, disruptive, aggressive, poses a danger to yourself or others, or illegal. FUTURE VISION defines unprofessional behavior as that which undermines the constructive and creative spirit of the summit.

This includes any form of written, verbal or physical abuse or threats, the use of derogatory or discriminatory language, gestures or actions. Any form of harassment, racism, sexism, or any other targeted comments which may violate any local, state or Commonwealth laws or cause harm to another FUTURE VISION guest will also not be tolerated. This is whether the interaction takes place during or after any FUTURE VISION event, whether in-person in Melbourne, virtually through the live-stream or via any of our social media channels.

FUTURE VISION may take action to address any individual or group it believes fail to meet the standards set out in this Code of Conduct, including, without limitation, revoking the violating guest or guests’ credentials without refund.

If you personally believe you have observed or experienced a violation of this Code of Conduct, please contact info@australiansinfilm.org and FUTURE VISION will work to assess the situation and respond as soon as possible.

All suspected violations of the law should be reported to NSW Police. For emergencies, dial 000 immediately. Otherwise, call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.
